Trickle Choi joined HKRep in 2019, and was nominated Performer of the Year at the IATC Critics Award 2024 for The Bucket. Among his recent productions are The Top Restaurant, Scapin in Jiānghú, Chap. 2024, Lumination of the Forgotten, Moscow Express, Liu Rushi, my Dear and The Isle.

 
In 2017, Trickle graduated with honours from the School of Drama, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in acting. During his HKAPA years, he received the Hong Kong Disneyland Scholarship and William Au Arts Education Scholarship. He was a two-time winner of the Society of APA Scholarship and Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship. His performances in HKAPA drama productions includeThe Seagull, Howl, La Dispute, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Descendants of the Eunuch Admiral. He also appeared in Mourning Becomes Electra (New Directors’ Movement, Theatre Horizon).
 

Prior to joining HKRep, he competed in street dance and popping both locally and internationally as a dancer and choreographer, and won several championship and runner-up honors.
