Vivian Chan joined the HKRep in 2019. Her recent performances included Scapin in Jiānghú, Chap. 2023 (as Drangonet), February 14 - a musical (as Doris) and The Impossible Trial – a musical (as Wu Yuk Yuen). In 2024, she was invited by The Theatre Practice to perform All the World' s a Sea in Singapore with professional theatre practitioners from around the world.
Chan graduated with honours in 2016 from the School of Drama, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in acting. During her HKAPA years, she received a scholarship to attend the drama programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for a term as an exchange student. She was also a 2012 graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York campus). Her performances of HKAPA drama productions include Twelfth Night and The Wilderness , the former winning her the accolade of Outstanding Actor. Prior to joining the HKRep, Chan participated in many productions in Hong Kong, including Theatre Space’s Company and Actors’ Family’s The Love Story of Sam and Sally.
