Drama-in-Education comes in many forms that are innovative and fun, providing great learning opportunities for students of different ages. Not only let students absorb knowledge better through dramatic arts , but they also build personal character. This teaching methods have been widely adopted by educators in recent decades.
 
Over the years, the HKRep has attached great importance on developing drama education, actively promoting the teaching methods and pedagogical skills to local schools through different types of teacher training courses. Between 2013 and 2016, the HKRep hosted the pilot "Playful Learning Programme". From 2018 to 2021, with the D. H. Chen Foundation as Growth Partner and Funder, a four-year "Playful Learning Programme" promoting drama education launched in collaboration with the Department of Early Childhood Education at The Education University of Hong Kong.
 
From 2013 to the present, the HKRep has visited more than a hundred kindergartens, primary and secondary schools for teacher training and providing support in educational activities, helping schools develop drama courses that fit their needs, creating ideal environments for "playful learning".
