Apart from dedicating itself to promoting theatre development, the HKRep explores cultural innovation and creates positive influence through large-scale arts education projects in collaborating with corporations and institutions. All of these contribute to the goal of establishing a sustainable, healthy environment that injects energy for social progress.

Previous collaboration  projects include “Hang Seng Call for Young Talent in Theatre” supported by Hang Seng Bank, the decade-long "Railway Safety School Tour Programme Master of Railway Safety" with the MTR as title sponsor, "Playful Learning Programme" with the D. H. Chen Foundation as Growth Partner and Funder, and the "Brain Health Education Programme" presented by the Charles K. Kao Foundation for Alzheimer's Disease. The HKRep has also worked hand in hand with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Environmental Protection Department, Independent Commission Against Corruption, UNESCO Hong Kong Association, the Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention Hong Kong, Caritas Hong Kong and the Education and Youth Department Bureau in Macao, among others. Through performances and productions, in-school trainings, school tours and community performances, the HKRep continues to engender a robust community and culture.
